This dish might be one of the most popular Azeri meal, while also being one of the easiest to cook. Ingredients:
- 1 kg of ground lamb
- 2 medium onions
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 2 teaspoons dried mint
- A pinch of fresh parsley
- Half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- Salt
- Pepper
- Paprika
Simply mix the minced lamb with all the herbs, garlic and onlions and squeeze them together around a skrewer, then cook. Squeezing may seem challenging at first, but any narrow and hallow tool will doo, even a neck of a plastic bottle.
